Privacy policy
This page describes what this site collects, why, and how you stay in control of your data. It may be updated; the date below shows the current version.
Last updated: June 2026.
Data controller
OFFBEAT.PM (full identity in the legal notice), reachable at hello@offbeat.pm. This site presents the studio’s practice and makes it easy to get in touch.
What is collected
Via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, after you consent: device and browser type, language, referrer, pages visited, session duration. Google Analytics 4 does not log your IP address. Cookies set: “_ga” (audience measurement). No advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
Email requests
When you write to hello@offbeat.pm, you share your email address, your name where relevant, and the content of your message. This information is used only to handle your request and follow up on it. The mailbox is operated by Google Workspace (Google, as processor); transfers are framed as described under “Third parties.” Retention: as long as needed to handle your request, then archived for up to 3 years after the last contact.
Legal basis
Two processing activities, two bases. Audience measurement: your explicit consent, withdrawable at any time (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and 7; ePrivacy art. 5(3) for cookie storage). Email requests: Offbeat’s legitimate interest in replying and managing the relationship, or, where your message starts a project (a quote, first exchanges), pre-contractual measures taken at your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)). Providing this information is always optional: without consent, no audience measurement; without an email, no reply is possible.
Retention
Audience measurement: data kept for 2 months (Google Analytics 4 setting); “_ga” cookies with a 2-year lifetime. Email requests: up to 3 years after the last contact. Consent preference: stored in your browser, re-requested at least every 13 months; you can clear it at any time.
Third parties
Google acts as a processor: Tag Manager and Analytics for audience measurement, Workspace for email. Some data is transferred to the United States, covered by the Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses (legal frameworks that secure transfers outside the European Union). A copy of these safeguards is available on request at hello@offbeat.pm.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, the right to set directives on the fate of your data after your death (article 85 of the French Data Protection Act), and the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr). To exercise these: hello@offbeat.pm.
Security
The site is static: no database, no form, no server-side processing. Exchanges use HTTPS.
Withdraw consent
At any time, the “Cookies” link in the footer reopens the banner to change or withdraw your choice: audience measurement then stops going forward. To also delete the “_ga” cookies already set, clear site data for offbeat.pm in your browser settings (Settings › Privacy › Cookies and site data).
